Full Description: This villa is in the Sierra de Crevillente region on a small urbanisation between 2 lovely villages Hondon de las Nieves & Hondon de los Frailes.
It is inland in the wine producing region of the Vinalopo Valley but is still easily accessible by the good road infrastructure. The two Spanish villages either side of the urbanisation are only a few minutes drive away & offer a number of bars/restaurants amidst an array of palm trees. There's also a number of Golf Courses in the area easily accessible by car. Alicante airport is 25mins away, Murcia airport is 50mins.
Ma Casa d'Alguena is a three bedroom villa with two bathrooms, one ensuite & sleeps up to eight people. It has a living/dining room & a fully equipped kitchen. There is a porch area & a solarium where you can grab those rays of sunshine. There is airconditioning/heater in the living area whilst there are ceiling fans in the bedrooms.
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes with safe, & ensuite bathroom with full size bath & overhead shower. There is also a lovely vanity unit & bidet.
Bedroom 2
Bedroom 2 has twin beds & fitted wardrobes.
Bedroom 3
Bedroom 3 has a single bed & a fold-away bed & fitted wardrobes.
Shower room
The shower room has a large walk in shower along with toilet & sink.
Living area
The living area has two windows letting in plenty of sun. There is airconditioning/heater & an open fire place. There are two sofas & sofa bed. For entertainment there's TV with English channels, DVD/MP3 player & small selection of DVD's. There are a few games & a few books available.
Dining area
There's a dining table with eight chairs & enough crockery for eight
The Kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with a gas hob/electric oven, fridgefreezer, washing machine, iron/ironing board, toaster, coffee machine, kettle, saucepans & usual kitchen equipment.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 8 x 4 metres & has steps going into it. There is a free standing shower to wash off the sun block before using the pool.
Solarium
The solarium is reached by outside steps & gives you a lovely view of the mountainous region. Here you can sunbathe or gaze at the stars at night.
Dutch Restaurant
On site there's a lovely Dutch owned restaurant where the food & hospitality can be highly recommended & you can enjoy a drink without having to worry about driving home
Scuba Diving
On site there is a diving school where you can learn to dive in the swimming pool before you venture out to explore the open sea. The cost of a dive as at January 2008 is 30 euros for one boat dive & 55 eoros for two. There are also snorkelling trips available for families as well as adults at the island of Tabarca where the children can experience the lovely marine life.Fishing is also available, a group of 6 will cost 200 euros(prices at January 2008), includes snorkelling equipment, knee boarding & refreshments.
Other Activities
There are sevaral tracks for ramblers up the mountain within a short distance of the villa & at the top you will be rewarded by the lovely views. You can hire a bike so you can explore the surrounding countryside. You can go paragliding or you can take a trip in a Hot-air Balloon, it's 45 mins long & includes a champagne breakfast.
Linen & towels except beach towels are provided.On arrival there is a charge of 50 euros to be paid to the key holder for the cost of cleaning.
